So Alex (your wife) likes for you to be gone and do what you do for a multitude of reasons. And obviously the fans really like it. It's obvious that the band is eager to have the opportunity to get out and do tour dates

But something else that was often present this year is a resistance to actually do the touring, which lies almost entirely with you, right?

All of that has been the fear of my physical health. There's nothing else attached to that. It's all a monstrous, serious, health anxiety. Disordered thinking, being, feeling…that's all it's been.
